Have you ever had anyone ask a question about football while your eyes are glued to the television watching your team try to pull off a win in the fourth quarter?

Now you will not have to answer those questions.

After an entertaining NFL season, fans want to learn more about the ins-and-outs of the game and this device is the guide to football knowledge.

The NFL and Amazon announced Amazon speakers with the “Alexa” function will be able to answer questions — anything from asking what is pass interference to how tall Tom Brady is and how many yards Brady has in his career and even official rulings on specific penalties.

The “Rookie’s Guide to the NFL” is a free add-on to Amazon speakers. With more than 1,000 NFL terms, rules and jargon, Alexa will be able to answer your NFL questions.

The system is updated daily during the NFL season. Information is updated from the NFL Network, so fans can also say, “Alexa, give me the NFL news.” When asked a question, Alexa makes sure the answer is short and informative.

As the result of an update three weeks after it was released, the “Rookie’s Guide to the NFL” can answer sports-related trivia questions, provide updates on team transactions and recent injuries, offer recaps on finished games and give predictions on upcoming games.

Three years ago the NFL posted a video across social media platforms to clarify the rules for people, and it received great feedback.

This is just the newest tool the NFL is using to get more people to understand the sport.
